Join us to make Legends happen! The Spurs Club is a first-of-its-kind chef-driven private social club and restaurant located atop the Victory Capital Performance Center at The Rock at La Cantera. Members can gather to work, entertain, and unwind in a premier style. Members will enjoy an array of amenities including multiple bars, fine dining, lounge/personal workspace, and access and connectivity to the Spurs organization. The facility includes a workspace and membership club connecting work, leisure, and culture for a select community of influencers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders with a passion for the San Antonio Spurs. The Food & Beverage Supervisor position is based out of San Antonio, TX and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager. Essential Job Functions Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of staff. Directly managing staff while having direct interaction with customers. Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory. Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures. Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality. Ensure all monetary handling procedures are documented and enforced. Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures. Conduct physical audit of inventory and products; research and perform reconciliations. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Excellent customer service. Can be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships. Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes new perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly. Detail oriented. Can manage people and resources to get projects completed; has a strong ability to multi-task and keep order. Required Qualifications: All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Must have at least two (2) to three (3) years' experience as a F&B Supervisor. Ability to interact with co-workers in order to ensure compliance with company service standards. Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting Must be fluent in English; Spanish speaking is a plus. Must be available to work an irregular schedule and extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, and feel/reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Environmental Working Conditions The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
