EPIC Program Coordinator

EPIC has been awarded a 5-year 21C Grant to support a new generation of programming, aligned with our Portrait of a Graduate, and we invite you to join us to advance purposeful programming for youth with our community and partners.

Program Coordinator 30 hours per week (full-time); $30-$35/hr, depending on experience.

Advance student learning and achievement in collaboration with school leadership and teaching staff, while strengthening the continuity of programming between the middle and high school after-school and summer programs. This role encompasses site leadership at RHS, including attracting and building creative and engaging programs to support students and encourage exploration, learning, and development of transferable skills.

Criteria: Strong leadership and collaboration skills are a must. Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and experience working with youth in a public school or other setting; a Masters degree is preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in a leadership capacity, including staff supervision. Candidates must have a vision for implementing engaging summer and after-school programming that connects with school-based initiatives.

Responsibilities include: managing daily operation of after-school and summer programs; creating supportive learning environments; supervising/recruiting staff; maintaining grant compliance; promoting programs and building community connections.

Anticipated Schedule: The afterschool program follows the school calendar. The six-week summer program operates approximately 40 hours per week. All candidates must meet CDD, VAE and local qualifications. All candidates must pass fingerprint and background checks. These postings are open until the positions are filled.
