Business Systems Analyst - ServiceNow
Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-Site) Duration: 12 Month Contract Pay: $60-62/hr W2 ONLY - NO C2C
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Business Systems Analyst
with a strong background in
data systems and design , and a specific focus on
ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) . The ideal candidate will be skilled in understanding data/reporting constructs, translating business needs into technical requirements, and effectively managing communication with stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze and design business systems with a focus on data integrity, system integration, and reporting. Serve as a subject matter expert in
ServiceNow , particularly within the
CMDB
module. Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements from various stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize data solutions aligned with business goals. Create and maintain detailed documentation including functional specs, process flows, and reporting logic. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, provide status updates, and facilitate effective communication between technical and business teams. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of
Business Systems Data
or
Business Systems Design
experience. Strong experience with
ServiceNow , with a focus on
CMDB . Solid understanding of
data and reporting frameworks . Proven ability to work across
multiple leadership levels
and extract detailed requirements. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ITSM/ITOM concepts and tools. Familiarity with enterprise architecture or data governance best practices. Prior experience in large, matrixed organizations.
