We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Business/Data Analyst to join our Reporting & Analytics team supporting ServiceNow. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in CMDB, data analysis, and ServiceNow reporting, who is also looking to grow into a Product Owner role. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs, translate requirements into actionable insights, and help shape the future of our analytics capabilities. Location: Minneapolis, MN HYBRID - 3 days onsite, 2 Remote Duration: 12+ months Top Requirements: 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or blended background Large Industry Experience, Banking/Financial Services Preferred ServiceNow - CMDB experience Data Experience within CMDB - understanding how data is constructed, how to pull data and create dashboards, how is the data even pulled (are there challenges?) Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business partners to elicit, analyze, and document reporting and analytics requirements. Data Analysis & Reporting: Deep understanding of CMDB data structures within ServiceNow. Build and optimize dashboards and reports that drive business decisions. Interpret and slice data to meet specific business needs. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units. Ask insightful questions to understand how data is used in decision-making. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively. ServiceNow Expertise: Hands-on experience navigating ServiceNow (Incident, Change, CMDB modules). Understand data relationships and reporting capabilities within the platform. Strategic Thinking: Support long-term vision for reporting and analytics. Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization. Product Ownership Path: Opportunity to transition into a Product Owner role. Participate in UAT, define acceptance criteria, and validate deliverables. Help manage stakeholder expectations and align analytics with business goals. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in a ServiceNow environment. Strong knowledge of CMDB and its role in enterprise IT operations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
