Division Overview : Ampirical's Substation Engineering Division has recognized national expertise in the planning and design of new substations and high voltage electrical switchyards. Job Summary : The Substation Site Engineer collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to develop efficient and reliable site, drainage, and access designs for substations. Responsibilities include creating site-related drawings in compliance with customer specifications, standards, and local codes, while ensuring cost-effectiveness, durability, and constructability. The engineer will lead, mentor, and guide less experienced staff and oversee all phases of substation site design for electrical utility projects, including permitting and supporting construction activities.
