Lead technology teams in enhancing operational stability and performance in a top-tier financial firm. As a Technology Support Team member in the EP CCC space, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production services. Critical thinking while overseeing day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a complex IT environment, ensuring the integration of services across multiple applications. You will manage the ingestion of Share Drive Metadata for continual analysis, ensuring security compliance, and providing technical oversight to report on and remediate Share and Home Drive compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Wintel servers, SQL databases, Oracle databases, and NAS devices.
- Oversee the integration of services across multiple applications.
- Design and maintain processes for ingesting and analyzing Share Drive Metadata.
- Monitor and enforce security policies and compliance standards.
- Provide technical oversight and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms for Share Drive compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of services.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Windows Operating System Expertise: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows OS.
- Windows System Administration: Knowledge of Windows internals for effective management and automation.
- Application Installation and Configuration: Ability to install and configure vendor applications.
- Distributed Systems Knowledge: Skills in designing and managing distributed systems.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Skills in diagnosing and resolving application issues.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Ability to monitor and optimize application performance.
- Database Management: Familiarity with SQL Server installation, configuration, and management.
- DevOps Practices: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
- Vendor Communication: Skills in effectively communicating with vendors.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ability to document configurations and ensure compliance.
