Position Overview
We are hiring a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide essential behavioral health services in a secure clinical setting in Soledad, CA. This full-time contract role offers consistent hours and the potential to convert to a permanent state position with full benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Act as clinician-of-the-day during scheduled shifts for emergency mental health coverage Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and obtain patient health histories Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans based on clinical expertise Apply advanced therapeutic techniques and specialty knowledge in patient care Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in accordance with standards Respond to patient inquiries and manage follow-up care and referrals efficiently Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care Required Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 12 continuous months providing direct patient care within the last 3 years Licensure:
Valid California LCSW license (hard copy required) Certification:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association ID:
Valid photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport Benefits
Health Insurance Weekly Payroll via Direct Deposit 40 Hours Paid Sick Time Contract Extension Bonus Pre-employment costs covered (Physical, Drug Test, Mask Fit, Background Check) Opportunity for temp-to-perm state employment with full benefits
