Point Solutions Group is seeking a
Software Developer
to join a high-performing team supporting essential national security projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in object-oriented programming, with preferred experience in database technologies, front-end development frameworks, and Agile methodologies. A
TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
is required prior to start.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain software applications using one or more object-oriented programming languages ( C# ,
Java ,
C++ ). Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in Agile development environments. Apply secure coding practices to ensure software reliability and security. Utilize database technologies, including
SQL , to develop and integrate back-end solutions. Support front-end application development, ideally leveraging frameworks such as
REACT . Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects and processes. Stay current with new technology trends and best practices, and recommend improvements to development practices. Required Qualifications:
Active
TS/SCI
security clearance with adjudicated
Polygraph . Must possess or be able to obtain one of the following certifications within 6 months of start:
Security+ ,
SSCP , or
CISSP . Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages:
C# ,
Java , or
C++ . Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
SQL
databases (query writing, database integration). Exposure to
REACT
for front-end development. Understanding of
Agile methodologies
(Scrum, Kanban, SAFe frameworks). Knowledge of secure software development practices in classified environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
