Position: PL/SQL Developer Location: IL/CA Education: Bachelor's level training in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. Skill Set: Java, .Net, C, C++ Expertise: Writing simple and complex SQLs, PL/SQL functions and procedures, analytical functions, packages, creation of Oracle objects (tables, materialized views, triggers, synonyms, user-defined data types, nested tables, collections), Oracle Database, MarkLogic Server, MLCP, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel. Job Responsibilities: Create detailed mappings between old and new data elements and verify business rules with users. Participate in business process evaluation, requirements gathering, system analysis, design, and implementation. Evaluate and implement third-party software solutions as needed. Develop procedures for data conversion routines to improve efficiency. Verify data migration accuracy and perform post-migration support. Develop plans for live data conversion and execute them. Verify converted data with clients and address post-conversion issues. Conduct post-conversion testing per the test plan. Maintain utility programs or scripts for automation of conversion tasks.
