Position: AWS Java Technical Lead Developer
Location: Mc Lean, VA (Onsite)
Experience: 12+ Years

PETADATA is hiring for an AWS Java Technical Lead Developer position for one of their clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain large-scale Enterprise Applications with Java (preferably Java-8).
- Maintain relationships with Business SMEs and Product Owners to review requirements and develop technical standards.
- Design and deploy cloud-based Microservice applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead end-to-end application development, conduct code reviews, and guide team members.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, including business users and product groups.
- Plan and develop new project requirements, technical designs, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
- Be an expert in Agile Scrum, develop code, and review code for team members.
- Develop and implement new features from the product backlog, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Possess expertise in cloud platforms like AWS.
- Provide leadership and collaborate effectively within the team.
- Communicate effectively across departments.
Required Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in Java programming.
- 6-8 years in ESB/Microservices, JSON, Linux, Python.
- 5 years in REST services.
- 6 years in Spring 4 (Core, MVC, Rest, Transactions), Spring Boot.
- Strong skills in AWS, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, Microservice Architecture, Spring Boot.
- Experience with Linux systems and Jenkins.
- Experience in software maintenance and support.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
