Software Platform Engineer
We are seeking a software engineer to help deploy a full stack, CLI-based software platform. The role involves leveraging your knowledge of various Linux installation processes to facilitate the rollout of our production-grade software platform. You will also integrate into our continuous build and integration infrastructure to ensure solution reliability. You will work closely with both software and hardware teams to validate, test, and document your solutions. Key responsibilities include infrastructure development, documentation, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to focus on completing tasks and achieving goals within a dynamic environment. A strong desire to learn and stay updated with industry trends is essential, along with the ability to recommend process improvements to the team as needed. Qualifications: Experience developing Linux packages such as APT or RPM packages. At least 3 years of experience with standard open-source developer workflows (Git, code reviews). At least 3 years of experience with automation using Python. Preferred: BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with development and production tools such as Shell, Git, Docker, Artifactory, and Ansible (3+ years).
