Linq Compensation Range:
$55,000-$85,000/year About the Role We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Birmingham team and contribute to the development of Linqs products. Whether your expertise is in back-end development with Ruby on Rails or front-end work with React, youll have the opportunity to grow as a full-stack engineer. Youll work closely with product designers, company leaders, and other engineers to deliver impactful solutions that meet customer needs and drive company growth. This is an in-office role, so youll collaborate with the team daily. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software solutions to enhance Linqs products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to high-quality standards. Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance and resolve issues. Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and tools. What Were Looking For Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning. Willingness to work across the full stack and learn new technologies as needed. Familiarity with web frameworks like
Rails ,
React, React Native , or
Next.js . Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Enthusiasm for building high-quality software and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Ideal Candidates Would Have Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Understanding of testing frameworks and automated testing. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
