Overview
Swift is seeking a talented enterprise level Senior DevOps Engineer to support our CI&CD Delivery team. This includes working day-to-day directly with software developers across the company to improve their infrastructure and software deployment capabilities and increase their deployment frequency. Experience deploying to Kubernetes is a critical requirement for the position. Past experience as a Software Developer or Linux System Administrator is an asset.
Implement ArgoCD to deploy our internal DevOps tools currently running in Kubernetes/OpenShift Client the foundations for future application deployments to Kubernetes/OpenShift within Swift Continuously enhance, through automation and industry best-practices, our Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment capabilities. Participate in Design Review meetings, Code Review meetings. Conduct training and information sharing sessions towards our internal customers Stay abreast of industry trends, in particular related to Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployments. Coach junior team members on both technical skills and best practices. Skills:
dvanced deployment automation using ArgoCD (MUST) and Helm (MUST) Yes Experience in a 24x7 operational environment and working with internal/external customers (DESIRABLE) Yes Experience in DevOps supporting CI/CD tool chain 3,00 Minimum number of years 5,00 Ideal number of years Experience with AWS/cloud, infrastructure-as-code, Terraform (A PLUS) Yes Experience with Cloudbees SDA (Software Delivery Automation), CI, CDRO (DESIRABLE) Yes Experience with securing pipelines with Hashicorp Vault. (A PLUS) Yes Experience writing Jenkins scripted and/or declarative pipelines (DESIRABLE) Yes Mastery of RHEL and Openshift or generic Kubernetes platforms and container concepts Yes Practical experience with podman (preferred) or docker, and the ability to operate on containers in a RHEL environment (A PLUS) Yes Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, in particular Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible Automation Platform (DESIRABLE) Yes
