Job Description
As an experienced Cloud System Administrator you will support the deployment, configuration and administration of cloud and distributed systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in dynamic, high-security environments and has hands-on experience managing modern cloud infrastructures.

100% onsite
in Maryland and requires an
active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance .
Requirements
What You'll Need
U.S. Citizenship Active
TS/SCI+FSP Clearance One (1) to Three (3) years of relevant experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics is highly desired and may be substituted for two (2) years of experience. Must have a Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification that is DoD 8570 compliant, such as: AWS Certified Developer - Associate AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Elastic Certified Engineer Advanced knowledge of SSH tunneling, dynamic SOCKS proxies and SSH-based utilities such as rsync, pdsh, pdcp and WinSCP. Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, port channel bonding and Layer 2/Layer 3 switch interactions. Familiarity with software load balancers (e.g., HAProxy, Nginx) for large-scale web services. Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Docker containerization. Proficiency in log aggregation and monitoring tools including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat, Grafana and rsyslog.
