Develop company technical infrastructure and software applications. Coordinate system integration, communicate with stakeholders, and define the solutions needed to implement business strategies and processes. Lead operations and development teams in the agile design, development, and implementation of software systems. Determine system performance standards and software requirements. Serve as technical liaison among project managers, developers and stakeholders. Analyze and translate business needs and requirements into technical requirements for software applications. Coordinate architecture, design, development, and implementation of software solutions. Design, develop, and modify software systems using iSeries AS/400, NetSuite, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, .NET, Java, Databases, and Web Services technologies. Identify potential gaps in software applications and suggest technology solutions. Help identify improvements in systems and/or processes. Introduce modern SDLC practices including unit testing and continuous integration. Research best practices in coding. Identify and prioritize technology tasks. Build technology roll-out plans to ensure efficient delivery of solutions. Research, compare, benchmark and evaluate new technologies to make recommendations. Present proposed design options to business users and IT leadership. Evaluate and identify processes, solutions, and technologies with a technology agnostic point-of-view. Develop software security programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information. Oversee and support the coaching and training of team members in software application usage. Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently. Design solutions with a security-first, zero-trust focus. Centralize monitoring and logging to ensure maximum visibility without compromising security. Identify development opportunities in the engineering platform. Drive improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and re-usability. Evaluate technology solutions to reduce cost and improve efficiency. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering Technologies or related field. 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, Software Architect, Software Engineer, or related position in a retail environment. $176,134.00 per year World of Jeans & Tops dba Tillys 12 Whatney Irvine, CA 92618
