As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical subject area design effort for large data center projects during the design process, permitting, construction administration, commissioning and providing engineering support to the facility operations team after the data center is in production.ResponsibilitiesReview EOR design drawings and vendor shop drawingsDevelop training programs and provide training and mentorship to employeesLiaise with leaders and provide support and accurate information to multiple levels of managementHandle ambiguity in problem definition, have a good handle on business value and have the initiative to craft problems and projects so that they deliver maximum impact Minimum Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent job-related experience 5+ years experience in Power Systems focusing on low to high voltage Ability to travel Preferred Qualifications
10+ Years of experience as a power systems design engineer Large data center design and project management experience Proven ability to design large power, protection and control systems Selective coordination and available fault current study experience High voltage substation protection and design experience Generator control and protection experience Experience with low voltage EPMS and BMS systems Fluent and effective communication skills At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
