We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team of passionate individuals. In this role, you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nations security and intelligence mission. The GoblinGlider (GG) Python/SDR SWE is focused on mission-critical system development, deployment, and evolution. This role involves developing robust applications in a Linux environment, emphasizing the integration of DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git, as well as a strong understanding of RF signals, particularly those related to satellite technologies. Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer 2 develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes appropriate software development and design methodologies. Provides input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, reuse, and requirements analysis. Primary functions:
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python for SDR technologies. Manage and deploy applications within Kubernetes using Helm. Collaborate with security teams to incorporate security practices. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Use Docker for containerization. Manage source code with Git. Apply RF signal processing knowledge related to satellite signals. Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues. Maintain documentation for code and processes. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Desired Skills:
Proficiency in Python, Linux, Helm, GNU Radio, REDHAWK, DevSecOps, CI/CD tools, Docker, RF signal processing, networking, and protocols. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Requirements:
Analyze requirements, debug software, improve processes, develop new features, and integrate software into systems. Lead software development teams as appropriate. Coordinate with system and hardware engineers. Clearance Required:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Education & Experience:
Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or related field. Fourteen (14) years of SWE experience may substitute for a degree. Salary Range:
$207,000 to $227,000, depending on location and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
