Network Engineer – Fort Meade, MD – Up to $345,000 inc. benefits Location:
Fort Meade, MD Clearance:
TS/SCI w FS Poly minimum required 401k: Employer contributes 25% of base salary, no employee contribution required ($32,500 – $57,500 annually, paid in monthly. They are a leading provider and prime to the Intelligence and Defense communities within the US, servicing their clients through some of the most exciting contracts out there, which have been in place for 40+ years and counting. They are well-established and regularly undergo continuous growth, hence their need for the full-time addition of a Network Engineer to be based at a Fort Meade, MD location. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, installing, implementing, and maintaining a large multi-agency, mission essential network infrastructure. They are looking for somebody at a senior level who has built and designed environments, ideally on a global network. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into very exciting project work from day one, working with a multitude of networking technology (data, security), and automation, in a high-level capacity. Key Skills: Juniper Networking Products (JunOS) preferred Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) LAN and WAN Multicast, STP, VLAN’s and Trunking EVPN (Ethernet over BGP/VXLAN or MPLS/VXLAN) Network Security - Firewalls, ACL Juniper Certifications - JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE (nice to have) Cisco Networking products (nice to have) Scripting and Automation skills (nice to have) IT, Networking, Network Engineer, Router, Switch, Firewall, Security, Juniper, Cisco, JunOS, LAN, WAN, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VLAN, Multicast, Linux, BSD, Design, Senior Seniority level
