Interested in joining our Systems & Software Test Engineering Team? At TA Instruments, we are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team and play a foundational role in building the quality and reliability of our next-generation, cloud-based software platform. Through comprehensive manual and automated testing, you'll ensure our solutions set the highest standards for performance and innovation. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to: Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases for our cloud-based applications, ensuring functional, performance, security, and usability requirements are met. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements, develop test strategies, and refine acceptance criteria. Build and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and data processing workflows. Perform API testing to validate data integrity and system interactions. Ensure CI/CD integration by implementing automated tests in continuous deployment pipelines. Identify, document, and track defects in issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Contribute to the overall test strategy to ensure the scalability, security, and high performance of the cloud solution.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience including: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of software testing experience, focusing on web and cloud-based applications. Strong experience with manual and automated testing for cloud-based software. Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestComplete.
