Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying that our applications meet high standards of quality, reliability, accuracy. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to test new features, identify bugs, and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze functional requirements, specifications, and user stories. Develop, document, and execute test cases and test plans for web and mobile applications. Conduct manual regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, and track bugs in a clear and concise manner using issue-tracking tools like Jira. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment. Manage test environments and test data. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience testing APIs, web applications, and/or mobile apps. Familiarity with issue-tracking systems like Jira or similar. Basic understanding of SQL and experience querying databases for test validation. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities. Knowledge of financial systems, accounting, or transaction processing is a strong plus. Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray). Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Playwright) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
