Scrum Master to provide Agile leadership to our software development teams.
Local candidates preferred (local schedule: first 6 months are all onsite - one day remote per week allowed after initial period.)
Able to hire remote employees only in: OH, PA, MI, IN, KY, WV, TN, GA, FL, TX, MO, NC, SC, SD, and NE. Visa sponsorship not available.
Responsibilities: Lead the scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices. Coordinate the development team's efforts throughout the lifecycle. Utilize Agile methodologies to drive project completion. Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments. Drive the adoption and enforcement of basic Scrum principles. Adapt basic, core Agile methodologies, practices, and processes to meld into the Quadax culture, workforce, and processes. Align resources on other teams, such as product management, quality assurance, and server support. Master Agile and Scrum principles and apply them to the development team's workflow. Build and maintain excellent relationships with team members. Present status to Directors and communicate concisely with executives. Use a variety of Agile metrics to help monitor progress on projects and roadmaps, code quality, and business value. Also use Agile estimation methods for estimating projects. Serve as Project Manager reporting status to an overall program manager while also serving as Scrum Master for the software development team. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry a plus 4+ years of experience in IT project management. 2+ years of Agile methodology experience Large scale production systems delivery experience Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills Strong knowledge of Agile tools and can train others on using these tools, especially JIRA and AzureDevOps Demonstrated understanding of software engineering practices, continuous integration, GIT (or other versioning tool) Demonstrated effective organizational, planning, decision making, and time management skills with proven ability to motivate in a time constraint/deadline-oriented environment Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict Well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to translate technology jargon into simple, understandable, business language when dealing with non-technical personnel Easy to work with. Must be a team player, humble professional, an inquisitive intellectual, but at the same time be pragmatic and good at realistic scoping Ability to maintain confidentiality
Requirements:
Physical Demands: General office demands including sitting and/or standing for long periods of time. Dexterity with general office equipment including but not limited to keyboard, mouse, printer and calculator. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines while adapting to a changing atmosphere. The employee will be expected to maintain confidentiality, adapt to business needs, make judgement decisions, grasp new ideas, and communicate with department managers, as well as with various employees and clients at all levels.
