Are you passionate about helping students find their voice? Were seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to support students across a variety of school settingsfrom preschool to high schoolthroughout the Oklahoma City area. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, youll play a vital role in delivering impactful communication interventions that change lives. What You Bring:
Completion of an SLPA Associates degree program or a Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders with completion of SLPA modules. Current Oklahoma SLPA license issued by the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology. Successful completion of at least 100 hours of supervised clinical experience. Experience working with children with disabilities
preferred. One (1) year of SLPA experience
preferred. Must be at least 18 years old and meet all federal, state, and local requirements. Current TB screening, health certificate, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (if applicable). Must have access to a laptop and printer (not provided by the district). The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will have clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities/plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician. Minimum Requirements: Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associates degree, or have a bachelors degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program. Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract. Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice. One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred. TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable. Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation). Must meet all federal, state and local requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age.
