JOB DESCRIPTION:
Theoris is seeking highly skilled Senior Application Support Analyst with over 10 years of experience in enterprise application troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization. This role calls for deep technical expertise in SQL, C#, Python, Java, and modern hosting environments-including on-premise and cloud-based architectures. A strong understanding of BI tools such as Spotfire, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities, is essential. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead efforts in diagnosing, debugging, and resolving application and system-level issues across cloud and on-prem environments. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes. Write, refactor, and optimize SQL queries for efficiency, scalability, and data integrity. Maintain and enhance applications built in C#, Python, Java, integrated with IIS, OpenShift, and cloud hosting platforms. Monitor and improve application performance and service reliability using both internal tools and cloud-native services. Deliver actionable insights via BI platforms (Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau); create data visualizations and dashboards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and manage solutions in cloud infrastructure (AWS). Develop and maintain documentation including incident reports, technical diagrams, and SOPs. REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years in application support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Advanced proficiency in SQL and query optimization. Solid background in C# development and IIS administration. Experience with Windows Services and enterprise-level application architecture. Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS EC2, AWS Managed Services...). Proficient with BI tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, or Tableau. Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role within an application support team.
