The Director of Business Development is responsible for leading operational, financial, programmatic, and personnel activities within the business development function in the Wellspring market. This includes identifying growth opportunities, maintaining strategic relationships, developing partnership models, and implementing growth tactics. Key responsibilities involve assessing market conditions, communicating insights to leadership, maintaining relationships with key partners, deploying educational and consultative services, and establishing formal legal agreements. The role also oversees day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, and human resources within the department, under the supervision of the Wellspring Administrator. The Director collaborates with leaders and staff across Wellspring branches, GMS affiliates, executive leadership, physician leaders, and other teams within the service area. The position reports to the Administrator of Home Health and Hospice. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field. Master's or advanced degree preferred. At least five years of experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, or related areas. Experience in large academic or complex healthcare organizations. Seniority level
