As a Front End Engineer on our Design System team, you will collaborate with design and product teams to build frontend experiences. Your work will enhance our digital platforms through prototypes, patterns, and components that empower our partners and clients. We seek a detail-oriented systems thinker capable of solving complex challenges from multiple perspectives. Experience Level:
Mid to Senior (2+ Years) Qualifications:
At least two years of front-end UI development experience with semantic HTML, CSS, ES6 JavaScript, and Typescript Strong knowledge of Typescript and React Experience with CSS frameworks and processors Understanding of software engineering best practices Proven experience with unit testing and Test Driven Development Skills in debugging and performance optimization Experience with GIT and source control workflows Familiarity with Node, Webpack, and NPM Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 Attention to design and layout details Excellent communication skills Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile methodologies Portfolio demonstrating UI development expertise Nice to Haves:
Experience in a design system team Experience with end-to-end testing and mobile testing frameworks Responsibilities:
Develop reusable React and Typescript components Contribute to the design system with components, documentation, and best practices Support implementation teams with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript expertise Promote an open, diverse, and curious development culture Provide technical solutions and collaborate with designers and product owners Pay Range:
Min $70/hr, Max $81/hr USD Additional Notes:
