As a Senior Proposal Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing proposal work for E2E LNG offerings of process technology, and equipment/modular offerings by utilizing Gas Processing, HON LNG and HPS’s automation and digital products and capabilities.
You will report directly to the Sr. Sales Director of the Honeywell E2E LNG Vertical and you’ll work out of our Houton, TX Honeywell Hub location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, the impact of a Senior Proposal Manager is comprehensive and covers efficient proposal execution, risk management, cost control, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, communication, issue resolution, strategic planning, process optimization, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration and innovation. You are pivotal in ensuring best articulation of E2E offering and proposal success, which, in turn, contributes to the organization's overall success and competitiveness in the market.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for coordinating cross-SBG to develop E2E process technology and modular offering proposal for LNG vertical packaging offerings from each business leveraging UOP & HON LNG and HPS. You will also work with HPS, UOP and Honeywell LNG on Experian DCS templates and other digital offering proposal templates like OTS and APC templates. For the new process/equipment/modular offerings aspect of the role, you will drive the End-to-End process offer proposal, small scale LNG end to end solution and full modular solution of UOP and Honeywell LNG process technology .
Sales Support:
Support Sales team to develop competitive Techno-Commercial proposals. Lead proposal development, solution positioning, clarification meetings, and technology updates.
Proposal Strategies:
Work with Sales to develop and implement proposal strategies to differentiate our solutions to address project specific needs including process optimization, process integration, project economics improvement.
Subject Mater Expertise:
Demonstrate technical expertise in gas processing and LNG system design and knowledge. Participate in customer discussions to provide technical sales support and develop an understanding of the customer’s needs and expectations.
Thought Leadership:
Develop and share thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, articles, and presentations, to position our company as a leader in the industry.
Product Development and Portfolio Expansion:
Support product development initiatives with Business, R&D, and Engineering to enable continued differentiation of Honeywell gas offerings.
Tools and Infrastructure Development:
Lead the ideation and development of simulation and estimation tools to streamline TSE work process and improve tool functionality and reliability. Develop and implement systems and processes to standardize design protocols.
Competitive Landscape Evaluation:
Collect customer intelligence on regional market trends, competitor strategies, and products. Provide information to Sales, Business, and Offering Managers for subsequent analysis. Maintain a thorough knowledge of UOP solutions and value propositions.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
8+ years of experience in the industry, with a deep understanding of its trends, challenges, and opportunities. Experienced in simulation tools/software. Experienced in technical writing and preparation of proposals. Ability to travel up to 20%.
NICE TO HAVE
Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering valued. Strong technical background in Gas Technologies with focus on Adsorbents, and Solvents and Membrane Technologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
