As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. As a Software Engineer Sr, you will be part of an Agile engineering team responsible for technical design and development within our Asset Management line of business. You will work with testers to address bugs or defects and propose & design solutions. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as tasks may vary day to day. You will also serve as a mentor for other team members. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Job Description
Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Writes code, tests, and deploys software. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. Maintains and debugs software. Managing Risk - Assessing and managing risks to ensure adherence to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and experience, including: Preferred Skills: Application Development, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Design, Group Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Release Management, Software Solutions, User Experience (UX) Design Competencies: Application Delivery Process, Application Design, Architecture, Development Tools, Testing, System Development Life Cycle, Troubleshooting, Documentation Work Experience: Typically requires a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. Certifications are desirable. Education: Bachelor's degree required. Certifications & Licenses: No specific requirements. Additional Information
Salary range: $55,000 - $152,375, varies based on location, skills, experience, and education. The role is incentive eligible. Application window: Expected to be open for two business days from 07/28/2025, possibly longer at discretion. Benefits
