Abacus Technology is seeking a Configuration/Data Manager to support configuration and change management activities at Wright-Patterson AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
Establish and maintain consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life. Analyze the impacts of the configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment. Assist with reviewing program-unique specifications for hardware and software. Support configuration control, including receipt, dissemination, processing, and tracking of various change requests and directives. Review change proposals for thoroughness and compliance. Make recommendations for government review and assist in meetings. Support the deficiency reporting system, including processing and tracking defect reports. Monitor closure of defect reports and prepare management reports. Provide engineering data management support and maintain data management plans. Support engineering reviews and data guidance conferences. Research, analyze, document, and assist in briefing related to configuration/data management. Develop and manage deficiency reporting and material improvement processes. Track all defect reports and change requests during system development. Qualifications
10+ years of configuration management experience, including at least 3 years in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Proven experience managing software, engineering documents, design drawings, and engineering changes. Must have IT Configuration Management experience within DoD, understanding data rights clauses, change impact evaluation, and configuration audits. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams are required. Proficiency in MS Office. U.S. citizen with a current Secret clearance.
