Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) is the part of Corporate Risk Management that protects our clients and our firm from financial crimes by assisting all Schwab enterprises in the assessment of Fraud, BSA/AML/Sanctions, and Conduct risk presented to our business units. The FCRM Productivity Tools and Enhancements team is responsible for data visualization and SharePoint & Power Platforms development that enable FCRM's teams to prevent, detect, and handle financial crimes risk.
We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and detail-focused Developer of Productivity Tools and Enhancements who is passionate designing new tools and processes for the Financial Crimes Risk Management teams. This team member will create and manage data solutions and visualizations that empower decision-makers with actionable insights that increase productivity, improve competitive edge and enhance workplace efficiency. This role requires a highly resourceful, self-motivated individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence and collaboration across FCRM.
Position Responsibilities:
This individual will report to the Director of Productivity Tools and Enhancements and will be responsible for driving and supporting a range of key activities in order to advance and complete the group's vision and strategic agenda. The Data Visualization Developer will work closely with the FCRM Transformation & Innovation Office Team on a range of ongoing activities and projects, including but not limited to:
Develop reports, thoughtful visualizations, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Tableau or other similar tools employing leading visualization techniques
Participate in discussions with business partners to define key business questions, translate them into necessary requirements documentation and develop visual data-driven solutions which answer those questions
Work with our internal customers to manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and address their feedback
Conduct review of solutions developed by the department in order to perform code-review or draft/update process flows and documentation
Champion the leading Tableau design methodology and best practices
Extract data from various data sources; perform exploratory data analysis, cleanse, reshape and aggregate data
Continuously assess inherent risks and mitigating controls in the execution of established procedures set for FCRM
Recommend modifications to processes through actionable reporting of observations and drive training recommendations to close any identified gaps.
Provide knowledge transfer for all supported functions to increase business continuity
What you have
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or relevant experience
Proficient in business intelligence tools and Tableau products (Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Data Visualization, Power BI) with development and implementation experience
Proficient using ETL tools and Alteryx products (Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Gallery and Alteryx Apps)
Proficient in SQL programming language
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or Google Cloud Platforms
Excellent analytical, quantitative skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Ability to learn new systems quickly and to adapt to changing business conditions
Identify and solves problems creatively; ability to think beyond immediate consequences
Self-motivated, results-oriented self-starter and proven ability to work independently with little supervision
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize business needs
Team player with an ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
Comfortable working under pressure, multitasking and dealing with tight deadlines with a positive attitude and teamwork, and able to perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Tableau Certified Data Analyst Certification (Active)
Alteryx Designer Core Certification (Active)
Experience with Python
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Experience with Microsoft Power Automate
Experience with Microsoft Power Apps
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.

CO Salary Range: USD $90,000.00 - $146,000.00 / Year
