Our team is responsible for creating the best shopping experience for customers wherever they go on their favorite Android and iOS devices. As a Sr. Program Manager - Tech the Mobile Shopping Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast, fluid, and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide. Amazon's Mobile Shopping App Release team leads releases for mobile shopping apps for IOS and Android. The Sr. TPM would take ownership of the quality of the release candidates we ship to our customers. Key job responsibilities include: Leading programs to deliver bar raising customer experiences with Amazon's Mobile Shopping App Release team. Possessing a strong program management background. Demonstrating experience leading medium to large projects. Having a well-rounded technical background in current web technologies, especially mobile shopping app releases. Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints. Taking large, complex projects and breaking them down into manageable pieces, developing functional specifications, and delivering them in a successful and timely manner. Running initiatives that span the larger DEX org (beyond the team you will be supporting). Driving projects from design to release, defining program roadmap, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and managing global production launches. Making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
