As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will play an integral role in the growth of our Continuous Improvement Department by leading our Process Improvement Program, which seeks to leverage the knowledge of our team for positive change. While leading this program you will work on elevating our continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility primarily by leading projects related to our production process on the floor, but also by facilitating trainings, and events that Drive Change. You will work with each level of management, as well as each department on the production floor and in the office to further our improvement culture. An important part of which will be to research and propose a plan of action that covers the effectiveness and value of that idea. In addition, you will help support our quality and technology initiatives. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop process standards (SOPs), for current processes. Facilitate projects using the DMAIC method. Lead the Process Improvement Program. Develop a culture and vision for the future of continuous improvement. Research ideas submitted by our team and create justification for starting new projects. Measure the impact before and after the completion of projects using lean tools. Outline and execute plans to complete both long and short-term improvements. Support Supervisors with monthly improvement projects. Conduct time studies to help identify bottlenecks. Work with Team to identify root cause for efficiency issues and present solutions. Analyze and organize efficiency data. Create presentations and lead meetings related to continuous improvement programs. Resource for tech initiatives and help with various computer and iPad issues. Audit various initiatives on the production floor. Create and update content on our internal communication websites. Why Clayton?
