Job Summary The Senior (Sr.) Application Analyst is responsible for participating in the design, implementation, training, documentation, operation, and support of Clinical or Business applications and reports. This includes planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing the specific application. The Sr. Application Analyst takes direction from their supervisor or manager and may serve as a Helios liaison to clinical or business departments, focusing on system goals such as patient safety, quality of care, revenue capture, and operational efficiency, following Henry Ford Health standards.
Qualifications
Associates Degree / two (2) years of college required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
More than two years of experience in:
Technical areas such as design, build, testing, debugging, and support of IT systems, with examples of workflows and processes.
Clinical workflows and processes, with examples of clinical experience integrated with IT solutions.
Revenue cycle processes, including bed management, registration, scheduling, billing, and coding, with focus on IT solutions.
Certifications
Epic accreditation or certification in the designated application is required within 6 months of hire to continue employment. Hiring may occur without certification, but it must be attained within this period.
