DecisiveInstincts is hiring a Cloud Developer (Senior) - Remote but candidates must be within 50 miles of Clarksburg, WV. Secret clearance is required. Requirements: Configure, maintain, and optimize Atlassian infrastructure (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) hosted in AWS GovCloud or Azure Government environments. Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and secure access controls for enterprise collaboration platforms. Automate deployments and infrastructure management for Atlassian services using IaC tools (Ansible, Packer, CloudFormation). Integrate monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) specifically for Atlassian environments. Apply cloud security best practices, including integration with AWS Security Hub for compliance and threat detection. Support containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) for scalable application delivery. Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives. Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to refine and prioritize the backlog. Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications. Minimum Experience and Certifications: Minimum of 8 years’ experience recommended; certifications or past work may substitute for experience if necessary. Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), SAFe Practitioner (SPC or SA). Technical Skills: Expertise in AWS or Azure cloud management, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs, Lambda, Load Balancing/Auto-Scaling, and IAM. Proficiency in IaC tools like Ansible, Packer, and CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo. Strong monitoring and logging skills with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana. Solid understanding of cloud security practices, network security, data encryption, MFA, and AWS Security Hub.
