Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Senior Manager to join their team. The Supply Chain Senior Manager will play a key role in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain efficiency, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, procurement, and distribution teams, to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality for materials and services. Implement and maintain inventory control measures to minimize excess inventory, reduce costs, and maximize inventory turnover. Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, streamline operations, and enhance supply chain performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to supply chain management. Develop and mentor supply chain team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications preferred. Proven track record of success in supply chain management roles, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization. Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, such as ERP systems, demand planning software, and inventory management systems. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in supply chain management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Salary And Benefits
