Chantilly, VA . We are filling 2 positions: 3-5 years with a Technical MS Degree. 8-12 years with a Technical MS Degree. What will you do?
The successful candidate will support the design and development of a web-based application for creating and managing tasking requests and approval workflows. The application will streamline tasking to provide better information to users, offer a centralized location for managers to view all taskings, resolve duplication in requests, integrate with other tools, and provide metrics and reporting capabilities. The program seeks candidates with experience in OpenTable format, PySpark, backend API technologies such as Python (FastAPI), Java, SpringBoot, and RESTful design patterns. Experience with JavaScript + UI frameworks (Angular, React, Vue), Docker, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes is also required. Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications: Active/current TS/SCI with Poly clearance. A masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a Masters Degree for Mid Level. 8-12 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a Masters Degree for Senior Level. Proven experience with OpenTable formats and PySpark. Experience with backend API technologies such as Python, Java, SpringBoot, and RESTful API design. Experience with client-side technologies (JavaScript, UI frameworks like Angular, React, Vue). Experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Experience working with Agile development and DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automated deployment. Experience with Linux operating systems. Knowledge of DevOps, release engineering, and operations for automation. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and in Agile teams. Additional Qualifications: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and attention to detail.
