System Debug Engineer
who will work with internal and external customers to triage and resolve issues to meet program milestones. Job Duties: Debugging and validating PC systems, with an emphasis on OS (Windows). Understanding of PC industry standard buses and their software stacks, such as PCIe, USB, and SATA. Strong understanding of BIOS, OS, and driver interactions at the system level, along with proficiency in x86 CPU architecture and functionality. Provide root cause analysis during development. Must be a self-starter and capable of handling ambiguity. Experience: Prior experience with client PC system design, validation, debug, CPU/SoC, and platform bring-up; OS-based testing tools and hardware debugging using post-silicon tools. 5+ years of relevant experience in triage, debugging, and root cause analysis. Strong background in Computer Architecture, with exposure to Hardware, BIOS, Firmware, Assembler, Kernel layers. System-level debugging skills for root cause analysis at the OS level. Expertise with tools like JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, SATA, USB, and PCIe bus analyzers. Familiarity with board-level design is a plus. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
