Direct message the job poster from Volibits Head of Talent Acquisition and Business OperationsEnd to End Recruitment Specialist @ Volibits | HR-Tech Solutions Job Title: Solution Architect – Operations Location : Remote (US Time Zone) with occasional travel to Aurora Colorado, North Carolina, or Owensboro, Kentucky Contract Duration : 9 months (with potential for extension) Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect – Operations to support the modernization of the legacy IT application stack at our Owensboro, Kentucky factory. This role will be pivotal in designing scalable and secure technology solutions that align with our phased transformation strategy, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing factory operations. The scope also includes support for a new facility currently under development in Colorado. Key Responsibilities Develop architectural solution outlines for modernizing manufacturing systems and operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business and operational goals. Support integration and deployment of ERP, MES, and SCADA systems within a hybrid IT/OT environment. Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and operational efficiency requirements. Advise on cloud/edge deployment models and infrastructure considerations for factory environments. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise-scale solutions in manufacturing environments. Working knowledge of ERP, MES, and SCADA platforms, including but not limited to: Verum , Rockwell Automation , Siemens , Apposo , Ignition , Dinfo , SAP Strong understanding of OT/IT integration, network configurations, and industrial cybersecurity. Familiarity with factory infrastructure and operational process design. Experience with cloud and edge computing technologies in industrial settings. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
