The Role:
We are in search of a dynamic Communications Manager to join our team at our global headquarters. This pivotal role will primarily focus on internal communications, encompassing 75% of responsibilities, while also managing external communications efforts, comprising 25% of the role. The ideal candidate will be a resilient, proactive individual with a talent for storytelling and a versatile skill set capable of handling a diverse range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies, with a primary emphasis on engaging internal stakeholders.
Serve as a liaison with external PR agencies to coordinate broader communication initiatives and manage corporate website content creatively and analytically.
Utilize content management systems like WordPress for crafting compelling copy and managing digital content.
Employ Adobe AfterEffects for creating engaging visual content and oversee the organization’s digital platform presence.
Participate in crisis management planning and response, ensuring organizational readiness and resilience.
Engage in community-oriented activities, upholding the company’s values and commitment to social responsibility.
Drive strategic goals aimed at increasing digital engagement, member growth, employee referrals, and overall brand perception as an employer of choice.
Qualifications:
Exceptional copywriting abilities and experience collaborating with communications agencies and internal stakeholders.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing/communications for mid to enterprise-sized organizations, with a proven track record of driving employee engagement.
Strong content design skills, proficiency in WordPress and PowerPoint, and experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multifaceted campaigns, with a focus on delivering results and meeting key performance indicators.
Background in strategic marketing and communications, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.

Compensation:
Base salary of $115K-120K with a 15% bonus, along with an extremely competitive benefits package including health, retirement plans, and employee discounts on company inventory.
Location:
Onsite position located near Newark, NJ, with 4-5 days per week at the global company headquarters.
