BC/BE Psychiatrist Medicine Physician
Full-time W2 position with benefits
Working hours: 8am - 5pm with flexibility
Minimal call shifts, no overnight call
Rounding in SNF, LTAC, and ALF facilities daily.
Compensation: $250,000/year, depending on experience, plus bonuses and mileage reimbursement.

We provide clinical services across various settings including Acute Inpatient Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care, and Assisted/Independent Living, collaborating with hospitalists, specialists, therapists, case managers, and psychiatrists to deliver compassionate, coordinated care.
Description
Provides medical oversight and care to the assigned patient population, maintains timely and accurate documentation, and participates in medical staff duties. Engages in quality assurance, utilization management, and peer review to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services. Supports practice budgetary goals and collaborates with administration and staff on strategic and operational plans. Work involves subacute, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living settings. Reliable transportation is required, with possible visits to multiple facilities in a day, including weekends and holidays as per the employment agreement.
Essential Functions
- Meet quality measures in medical care provision, perform administrative functions, and adhere to professional standards and regulations.
- Maintain appropriate, timely, and confidential documentation and coding for compliance and billing.
- Participate in medical staff duties, meetings, peer reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with practice administration and staff, foster positive relationships, and serve on relevant committees.
- Follow safety standards, report unsafe conditions, and attend safety training.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the practice, serving as a role model and promoting service excellence.
- Work independently, assess complex situations, and make sound judgments. Physical stamina and manual dexterity are required.
Experience
- Preferably experience in Skilled Nursing/Post-Acute care or Hospitalist settings.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with licensure in the practicing state.
Licensure/Certification
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by the appropriate certifying board.
- Must maintain medical staff membership and privileges at relevant facilities if required.
