Trueline’s client, a well-established heavy civil construction firm based in Massachusetts, is seeking a Civil Site Superintendent to join their team and oversee upcoming site development projects in the Greater Boston area.

Trueline’s client, a well-established heavy civil construction firm based in Massachusetts, is seeking a Civil Site Superintendent to join their team and oversee upcoming site development projects in the Greater Boston area.

What You’ll Do:
Supervise all on-site construction activities for heavy civil/site projects
Manage field operations including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
Interpret and enforce project drawings and specifications
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards
Conduct daily reporting, forecasts, and two-week lookaheads
Lead field meetings and maintain effective communication with stakeholders
Identify and document change orders or deviations
Mentor crews and enforce a culture of safety, accountability, and productivity
Must-Haves:
10+ years of progressive responsibility in heavy civil construction supervision
Proven ability to manage project logistics, resources, and timelines
Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and regulatory compliance
Experience reading blueprints and interpreting technical documents
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage field teams
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Familiarity with regional site development projects (e.g., infrastructure, utilities, roads)
Comfort with project scheduling software and field technology tools
