Responsible for supervising individual shift staff to ensure proper departmental flow in the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation and equipment to multiple serviced departments.
- High School diploma or equivalent education (GED)
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech (CSPDT) through the Central Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
- Two (2) years of Sterile Processing or related field experience.
PREFERRED
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
- One (1) year of Sterile Processing or related field supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrument sterilization techniques, Sterile Processing policies and procedures, and surgical procedures.
