Overview
Role : The Data Analytics Supervisor provides leadership, innovation, and oversight for data analytics operations, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights to inform and develop strategies for operational and business initiatives. This role is responsible for setting data standards constructing data sets to identify trends, support decision-making, and drive business outcomes at ORNL Federal Credit Union.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities : Data Management and Analysis: Builds and maintains data sets to support in-depth analysis and uncover actionable insights. Utilizes statistical methods, modeling, and advanced analytics to identify trends and inform strategies. Oversee the collection, validation, and maintenance of datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability for reporting and analysis purposes. Review and verify analytics deliverables to ensure insights and recommendations are based on accurate and consistent data. Capacity Building: Develops the team's expertise and technical capabilities to meet project demands. Ensures the analytics infrastructure is robust and scalable to support organizational goals. Leadership and Strategy: Leads and oversees the data analytics team, fostering innovation and operational excellence. Develops and implements data standards, processes, and best practices for analytics operations. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions. Decision Support: Presents findings and insights in a clear, actionable format to support stakeholder decision-making. Creates dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and trends. Performs all other duties as assigned. Experience:
Five or more years' experience in data analytics, statistical methodologies, and modeling techniques. Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Financial institution experience is preferred.
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, military experience or related work experience required.

required :
Experience with data automation tools and analytics platforms, like Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement. Knowledge of programming languages. Familiarity with data visualization tools.
