Cook At The Lake House
Starting Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly Day/Swing shift available As a Cook at The Lake House, you'll prepare and cook menu items, follow food safety standards, and support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes. What Does a Cook Do? Continually demonstrates the ability to produce food orders in a timely, neat and organized manner according to the needs of the guest. Always follows all approved recipes while ensuring proper cooking techniques and the highest quality standards are upheld. Understands the importance of proper food handling procedures and ensures that procedures are always followed. Continually demonstrates the ability to properly use kitchen equipment while ensuring the highest safety standards. Beyond gaming and hospitality, our portfolio also includes convenience stores, three 18-hole PGA-level golf courses, and other unique ventures. Work Experience A High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma; required. Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or related field; preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers, complete basic forms, and follow schedules and menus. Must also possess basic math skills for measuring and be able to operate kitchen equipment such as steamers, fryers, and ovens. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 71 - 80 pounds.
