Pre-Employment Requirements and/or Preferences
10-20 hours per week. Desired qualifications for this role include a background in public health, harm reduction associated with injection drug use, HIV, and Hepatitis C. Candidates with experience in trauma-informed care and an understanding of harm reduction strategies are highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in Public Health is preferred but not required for this position. Must pass a criminal background check prior to hire. Working in the syringe exchange program clinic which includes interacting with clients to provide harm reduction strategies. Tracking and stocking syringe exchange program supplies. Coordinating the syringe exchange program advisory committee. Enter syringe exchange data, produce reports and analyze data. Providing syringe exchange program education to syringe exchange clients and community partners. Community presentations on the syringe exchange program and harm reduction strategies. Develop performance measures, and quality improvement projects. Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. License or Certificate:
Valid Oregon State Drivers License with acceptable driving history.
