NO AGENCIES PLEASE SENIOR WINDOWS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR TEMPORARY POSITION We are looking for an experienced Sr. Windows System Administrator to manage and maintain our Windows server infrastructure and SAN/NAS storage systems. This role requires expertise in Windows server architecture and antivirus management. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and supporting Windows servers and applications, ensuring effective backup and disaster recovery processes, and collaborating with key vendors to stay current on technology advancements. The ideal candidate will proactively identify system improvements, troubleshoot technical issues, provide end-user support, and participate in our 24x7 service commitment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform duties typically handled by system engineers, such as network issues, managing domain controllers, remote connections/locations servers, file servers, anti-virus servers, Windows group policy settings, managing Windows Active Directory, etc. Expert in Windows server architecture and SAN/NAS. Designs, builds, deploys and maintains Windows servers and SAN/NAS Installs, configures and supports all Windows server based business applications. Serves as administrator for those applications Responsible for developing backup/recovery plans for Windows servers, ensuring daily backups, and restoration (including Disaster Recovery) Works with key vendors such as Dell, HP, EMC to keep abreast of new technology that improves network and Windows server environments Responsible for purchasing Windows servers & storage systems Work closely with the rest of IT team and be proactive in identifying Windows Systems improvements for current or future projects Devise innovative work-around solutions or new processes Analyze Windows systems changes and participate in technical troubleshooting Provide Help Desk support directly to end users to resolve issues in a timely manner QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree preferred, Computer Science or related field preferred, high school or equivalent required. 7+ years of relevant Microsoft product support, Help Desk or related work; and 5+ year of Windows administration duties Strong knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Server Strong knowledge of security patch management, server monitoring, and Disaster Recovery practices Strong knowledge of backup and recovery procedures Strong knowledge of Dell / EMC Hardware Strong knowledge of Anti-Virus / Anti-Spyware technologies Familiarity with MS SQL Server, IIS, SUS Strong knowledge in SAN/NAS, Windows clustering, Server virtualization Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, DHCP/DNS/WINS Strong knowledge of MS Active Directory, group policy and script management Solid understanding of TCP/IP, including DNS and subnetting Excellent time, project management and organizational skills Excellent personal skills to work with a variety of people Strong knowledge with project management techniques and processes Ability to work as team member and independently with minimal supervision Seniority level
