System Administrator
to support one of our customers. We are looking for a skilled and motivated
System Administrator
with strong
networking experience
to manage and maintain our company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in systems administration, with hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network devices and services in a secure and scalable environment. Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux), including system updates, patching, and performance tuning. Deploy, configure, and manage network infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN solutions to support a secure enterprise environment. Implement and maintain security controls and policies in line with CMMC Level 2 or higher. Perform regular system and network vulnerability scans, remediation, and documentation. Manage directory services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP) and multi-factor authentication solutions. Assist with incident response, forensic analysis, and recovery procedures as needed. Provide Tier 2/3 support and assist with cybersecurity audits and assessments. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Qualifications:
Required:
U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD-related work) Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CCNA, Network+, or CMMC-CA/CP 3-5 years of experience in System/Network Administration 3-5 years of experience with secure network configuration and segmentation Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Microsoft 365 environments Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning platforms Hands-on experience with Cisco, Active Directory, or similar network appliances Desired:
Working knowledge of CMMC/NIST-800-171 Working knowledge of DISA STIGS Scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash for automation Benefits:
