What is Florida PALM? The Florida PALM Project (the Project) is an enterprise project to replace the State of Floridas legacy accounting, payroll and cash management systems, using an enterprise resource planning solution. Who are we? We are an innovative team of experts specializing in financial operations, business analysis, project management, change management and stakeholder relations. Special Notes Four (4) years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is
required . A bachelors degree in a relevant discipline may be used as an alternative for the years of required experience. Additional Requirements Three (3) years of experience in auditing, disbursements, accounting, financial reporting, and/or technical experience (i.e., requirements gathering, data analysis, development, testing, and implementation) for accounting systems. Preferences Experience in State of Florida Asset/Property management or accounting and Lease management or accounting. Experience working in team environments (i.e., as a leader or as a member). Experience performing business analysis functions, including working with subject matter experts, business users, or stakeholders to gather information, document expectations, and develop the desired outcome. Experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, design, development, testing and/or implementation of financial management system(s). This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment. Minimum Qualifications

Operational Working with supervisor and leadership to establish priorities and due dates for work assignments. Communicating concerns and executive contact to your supervisor and/or project director. Managing all deadlines in an organized manner to ensure timely completion of work products. Applying critical thinking. Adhering to DFS policies at all times. Working as a team player. Preparing presentation materials and leading meetings with state agencies and other stakeholders. Reviewing and providing input on current and proposed state and federal statutes. Working with the financial management solution software implementation vendor. Consulting with subject matter experts, business users, and stakeholders. Project Management And System Release Responsibilities Ensuring the How Met for requirements of assigned system modules satisfy the needed functionality. Conducting in depth analysis and documentation for system configuration. Leading functional reviews for design, testing and other related activities. Assisting with user-acceptance testing sessions. Identifying risk and issues for assigned system modules.
