As an experienced Software Engineer at CyberPoint, you will support mission-critical systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive software development expertise and a strong background supporting programs of similar scale and complexity.

This position is 100% onsite in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance .

Qualifications

What Youll Need

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
• 20 years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of 6 years (within the last 8) developing production software in Solaris or Linux environments.
• Minimum of 6 years developing software in Java, C, or C++.
• Demonstrated experience developing RESTful services.

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience with voice or video processing systems involving ingest, playback, storage, and retrieval across multiple media formats.
• Handling large-scale data operations including:
• Ingest and storage of 500GB/day or more of multilingual text.
• Distributed, peer-to-peer content storage/retrieval with 500+ nodes.
• Metadata indexing, summarization, data mining, visualization, and analytics.
