This position is full time, working approximately 40 hours a week, and is benefits eligible. Occasional travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory. This position is fully in office but a hybrid work schedule will be considered after the initial 90 days of employment.

Position Summary:
The Network and System Administrator will manage the Association's firewalls and data access, maintain core IT infrastructure, support the help desk, and serve in a low-volume on-call rotation for critical alerts.
Responsibilities:
Networking
Manage, configure, and monitor Palo Alto firewalls (security policies, VPNs, NAT, threat prevention). Support and maintain Juniper switches and wireless access points (Layer 2/3). Design, implement, and support Azure networking (vNets, NSGs, ASGs, VPN gateways, hybrid connectivity). Monitor traffic, performance, and availability; proactively identify and resolve network issues. Maintain documentation and diagrams for network architecture, configurations, and procedures. System Administration
Manage virtual infrastructure (Hyper-V and Azure VMs). Monitor backups, patching, system performance, and security. Maintain and improve documentation and automation processes. Microsoft 365 Administration
Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD). Handle user provisioning, licensing, compliance settings, and MFA/security policies. Monitor health, audit logs, and alerts across Microsoft 365 services. Support adoption, troubleshooting, and best practices for end-user productivity. General Support & On-Call
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated help desk issues. Participate in a low-stress on-call rotation - typically only for urgent alerts or outages. Collaborate with IT team on cross-functional projects and new rollouts. Minimum Qualifying Characteristics:
3+ years of experience in a network/system administrator role Preferred: degree in IT related field Preferred: CCNA, PCNSE, JNCIA/JNCIS, Azure Network Engineer Associate, MS-102, etc. Experience with Palo Alto firewalls (PanOS) Preferred: Palo Alto Strata Cloud Firewall management Preferred: Exposure to security frameworks (NIST, CIS benchmarks) Experience with Layer 2/3 switching and wireless Strong understanding of a Zero Trust architecture Cloud networking (Azure preferred) Preferred: PowerShell, Python, Bicep or other scripting experience Preferred: Professional experience with Linux Microsoft 365 admin (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) Experience in IAM Management Strong understanding of networking concepts: VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ACLs, VPNs Ability to troubleshoot across endpoints, cloud services, and infrastructure layers Clear, concise documentation and communication skills

Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000.
This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual salaries could vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Variation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
