Join Maximus as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with a focus on designing and managing Kubernetes environments on AWS. Your expertise in containerized application deployment and performance optimization will be critical in supporting vital Department of Defense projects. This role requires hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD integration to enhance DevOps processes.
Please note:
This position is on-site five days a week and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage Kubernetes environments on AWS for seamless containerized application deployment. Implement and oversee infrastructure as code alongside DevOps best practices for AWS resources. Enhance CI/CD integration and streamline application lifecycle management. Optimize performance, resolve networking issues, and uphold system security protocols. Minimum Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory. A minimum of 6 years in AWS and DevOps engineering, particularly with Kubernetes. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in managing AWS systems, including Amazon EKS and supporting development and testing teams. At least 5 years working with containerized platforms. Proficiency in scripting languages along with hands-on CI/CD pipeline and container orchestration experience. IAT Level II certification is required. Kubernetes CKA certification is required. At least two of the following certifications are preferable, with 3 years of proven relevant experience as a substitute for each certification: AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or training AWS SysOps Administrator certification or training AWS DevOps Engineer certification or training Maximus is an equal opportunity employer, providing a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $125,000.00 to $240,000.00, along with various employee benefits.
